Building research
In cooperation with the ECG BUILDING CULTURE, a collaboration with the Institute for “History of Architecture, Building Research and Conservation” at the Technical University of Vienna, supported by the province of Carinthia and the Federal Monuments Office, we measured using highly advanced 3D laser measuring all the relevant buildings on and around the castle and scan using airborne laser scanning of a helicopter from the air environment of the castle rock, so as to create a three-dimensional virtual overall model of the entire system. The newly obtained data not only represent a mere documentation of historical buildings and topography, but also serve as the basis for comprehensive research on the history of the complex.
