The Khevenhüller-Metsch honor guard is a figurehead of the princely family – and the vibrancy of the tradition has seldom been carried on as it is here. The honor guard has been protecting and guarding the royal family since 1600 and securing Niederosterwitz Castle and Hochosterwitz Castle.
